Overview
Call Preflight is a browser-based utility that helps you test your camera and microphone before video calls. We designed it to be private by default.
Data collection
Call Preflight does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. There is no analytics, no tracking, and no server-side logic.
Local storage
Your preferences (selected camera, microphone, color theme, and whether you have started the app) are saved in your browser's local storage on your device. This data never leaves your device except when you explicitly grant camera/microphone access to the WebRTC engine in your browser.
Camera and microphone
When you enable your camera or microphone, media streams are processed entirely within your browser via WebRTC. No audio or video is sent to any external server.
Third parties
Call Preflight is hosted on Vercel for static file delivery. Vercel may log standard HTTP request metadata (IP address, user agent) as part of normal web hosting. We do not use any third-party analytics or advertising services.
